Introduction
Kai Corporation and its affiliates (collectively, the "KAI Group" (※1)) respect the privacy of all individuals and organizations who use the customer services (hereinafter, the "Services") operated by the KAI Group (hereinafter, the "Customers") with regard to the handling of their personal information, and will endeavor to provide customers with reliability and a sense of security by paying close attention to the management of the personal information it acquires.
1. "Personal Information"
"Personal information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003, hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act"), and refers to information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual based on the name, date of birth, or other description contained in the information, or that includes an individual identification code.
2. Acquisition of Personal Information
Personal information will be acquired in a lawful and proper manner. In principle, we will not acquire any sensitive information about the customer, such as race, creed, social status, medical history, or criminal history. However, this does not apply if the customer provides such information themselves.
3. Purpose of Use of Personal Information
KAI Group companies will use customers' personal information appropriately to the extent necessary to achieve the following purposes. If KAI Group companies use personal information beyond the extent necessary to achieve the following purposes, they will obtain prior consent from customers in an appropriate manner.
A. Provision of the Services
B. Delivery and sending of communications, e-mail newsletters, direct mail, various notices, etc., in connection with the use of this service
C. Provision of personal information to companies affiliated with the Service based on the customer's consent or application

4. Voluntary provision of personal information
KAI Group requests that you provide personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use. You do not have to answer all the questions, but if you do not answer certain questions, you may not be able to use the Service.
5. Joint Use
KAI Group will jointly use your personal information as follows:

In principle, only the customer himself/herself may request the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, and suspension of provision to third parties of his/her personal information held by KAI Group (the processing of such requests shall comply with the requirements of the Personal Information Protection Act). Please note that the original documents such as postcards used to obtain personal information are stored for a certain period of time and then disposed of, so we may not be able to disclose the original documents themselves.
8. Organization and Structure
Each company of the KAI Group shall comply with the laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information, and shall establish and comply with its own internal regulations concerning the protection of personal information. Such internal regulations are continually reviewed by the KAI Group Compliance Committee. Furthermore, personal information provided to the KAI Group shall be handled only by information handlers appointed by the KAI Group Personal Information Protection Officer.
9. Safety Control Measures
KAI Group takes the following safety management measures for the personal information it collects.
(1) Understanding safety control measures within the KAI Group and the external environment
KAI Group has established and established a personal information protection policy and internal regulations regarding personal information protection, and has taken necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the safe management of personal information, such as appointing a personal information protection officer. In addition, when handling personal information outside of Japan, we regularly collect and understand information regarding the personal information protection system of that country and take measures to ensure safety management.
(2) Supervision of employees
When KAI Group has employees handle personal information, the company provides necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure the safe management of the personal information by having the employees bear confidentiality obligations and by conducting regular inspections of the handling status, etc. In addition, when the company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information, the company provides necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure the safe management of the entrusted personal information by conducting regular audits based on the contract with the outsourcee, etc.
10. Changes to this Policy
KAI Group reserves the right to change this Policy at any time unless required by law or regulation.
11. Internet Safety Measures
When personal information is provided via KAI Group's website, we use the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt data transmitted over the Internet, thereby preventing data interception or tampering by third parties.
